ABOUT
Goro Fujita is an Art Director, Illustrator, and Animator with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
His career journey encompasses a diverse array of creative roles, spanning from animating for TV commercials and feature films to serving as a Visual Development Artist at DreamWorks Animation. Notable projects under his belt include contributions to renowned films like “Megamind,” “Madagascar 3,” “Penguins of Madagascar,” and “Boss Baby.” Additionally, he has directed his own short films and immersive experiences, while also lending his artistic talents to illustrate multiple children’s books as a Freelance Illustrator.
Starting in 2015, Goro ventured into the realm of virtual reality, taking on the role of art director for the Emmy Award-winning VR experiences "Henry" and "Wolves in the Walls, Chapter 1" at Oculus Story Studio. He also served as an executive producer for over 20 VR animated titles. Yet, his most significant acclaim stems from his pioneering work in VR utilizing Quill, where he introduces audiences to the enchanting world of storytelling within virtual reality.
